Praia dos Paradinha is a small beach set between ochre cliffs and rocks sculpted by erosion. Its golden sand stretches out in a narrow strip facing the Atlantic. We loved its tranquil atmosphere, far from the busy beaches, and the raw beauty of its typical Algarve natural setting, marked by the contrast between golden stone and the deep blue of the ocean.
Here are some useful tips for planning your visit to Albufeira’s Praia dos Paradinha.

This opinion is completely independent, based on our experiences. We visited the region anonymously, making our own choices and paying our bills in full.
Is the Praia dos Paradinha worth it?
Yes! Praia dos Paradinha attracts visitors with its natural setting and human scale, creating a more intimate atmosphere than Albufeira’s long stretches of sand. Here you can enjoy a pleasant setting for sunbathing, admiring the scenery or simply taking a dip, while taking advantage of the perfect facilities for a relaxing day at the beach. In fact, it’s one of Albufeira’s Albufeira’s most beautiful beaches!
On the other hand, the waves can make swimming a little sporty on certain days, so we recommend that you exercise caution.
The beach is one of Albufeira’s main attractions.

Beach type: sandy, supervised…
Sand or no sand?
The beach floor is covered with fine, light-colored sand. Ideal for lounging or playing by the water.

Swimming conditions and supervision
The access slope to the water is gentle. The rocks on either side of the beach are a haven for biodiversity. It’s the ideal beach for snorkeling.
Signs indicate that the beach is supervised in season, and we saw lifeguards there.

Installations
We found toilets right on the beach.

OUR ADVICE FOR RENTING A CAR IN THE Algarve
- Compare prices on our preferred platform: DiscoverCars – one of the best rated sites.
- Don’t take a car that’s too wide, as old towns have narrow streets and small parking spaces.
- For more choice, book early.

The beach is below the parking lot. To get down there, you’ll have to take a sloping path.
