Located right in the center of Armação de Pêra, just a few steps from the beach, Hotel Marsuites is an ideal pied-à-terre for those who want to enjoy local charm without sacrificing comfort. This modern, well-maintained bed & breakfast offers an intimate, well-kept atmosphere in a quiet, picturesque neighborhood. It’s within easy walking distance of the town’s restaurants, shops and typical alleyways, making it a strategic starting point for exploring the treasures of the Algarve.

- Convenient, central location Located in the heart of Armação de Pêra, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, the hotel is within walking distance of everything you need to do: restaurants, shops, local market, seafront… It’s an excellent starting point for exploring this charming Algarve seaside town, but also for exploring the Algarve and the 2 nearest towns: Portimão and Albufeira.
- A well-cared-for atmosphere and a warm welcome: we felt that every detail had been thought of to offer a pleasant experience (decoration inspired by the sea, cleanliness, small, attentive team…). An intimate, relaxed atmosphere that’s a welcome change from impersonal hotels where you can’t find your room.
- Good breakfast: we liked the varied buffet with fresh, local and homemade sweet and savoury products. The perfect way to start the day before exploring the surrounding area.

Is the Marsuites Hotel worth it? Our review
Yes, without hesitation. The Marsuites Hotel is a charming address, very clean, with warm, attentive service. The attentive welcome, the breakfast with local and homemade products, the harmonious decoration and the central location make this B&B Hotel an excellent choice for a peaceful stay in Armação de Pêra, near Albufeira. You’ll find an intimate atmosphere, far from the big tourist resorts, yet still close to the beach.
What’s more, the location is convenient: you’re close toAlbufeira and Portimão, yet away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities and busy beaches. A great alternative for a holiday exploring the Algarve.

Decoration and atmosphere
From the moment we entered the building, we were immersed in a vacation atmosphere! Indeed, the hotel’s decor is centered on the beach theme: ocean-related objects, references to fishing, marine accessories and seaside-inspired colors create a soothing, warm universe. The staff are also very warm and welcoming, which adds to the friendly atmosphere of the establishment. The whole area is pleasant and relaxing, perfect for unwinding as soon as you arrive!

The room
Our room was distinguished by its simple, uncluttered atmosphere. We didn’t find the decor exceptional, but the whole was pleasant and harmonious, conducive to rest. Soft colors dominated, with a faux parquet floor, wood and wicker furniture, and industrial touches in the choice of lamps and decorative objects. The beige curtains matched the rest of the room perfectly, reinforcing the impression of calm and visual coherence.
In the bedroom, you’ll find a TV, a console and chair, 2 hangers to empty your suitcase, a mirror and a small fridge. We think it’s everything you need for a comfortable, practical stay.
The view from our room overlooked the parking lot. It’s not the hotel’s strong point, but it’s secondary if you plan to spend the day outdoors.

The bathroom
Functional and in keeping with the style of the bedroom, the bathroom blended white and wood for a sober, modern look.
We found a bidet, hairdryer and toiletries (shampoo and shower gel). However, a conditioner is missing for those who are used to it.

The breakfast
We enjoyed the buffet breakfast. We found local products, such as home-made jams, and homemade cakes (with a special mention for the chocolate cake!).
We particularly appreciated the choice of products on offer, whether sweet (breads, cereals, pancakes, oilseeds, yoghurts, fruit, butter, chocolate hazelnut spread, dried fruit, milk, squeezed orange juice) or savoury (cheese, cold meats, raw vegetables). All in a bright, pleasant room, perfect for a good start to the day.

How to get there?
You can reach Armação de Pêra by train or bus from Portugal’s other major cities, including Lisbon (3h) and Faro (2h30). You can book your tickets on the Comboios website here. The nearest airport isFaro Airport, which is served by major European cities such as Paris, London, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Dublin. Faro is easily accessible by car, with major highways such as the A22, N125 and N2.
Hotel Marsuites is located in the center of Armação de Pêra, but can be reached by car, although the streets are narrow. Caution is therefore called for.

The hotel has a free, uncovered parking lot.
