Totally! Costa d’Oiro Ambiance Village captivates with its Mediterranean, family atmosphere. We were charmed by the resort’s friendly atmosphere. The establishment boasts several outdoor pools and a wellness area where you can enjoy real moments of relaxation! Its proximity to Praia do Camilo makes it an ideal base for exploring the region’s magnificent beaches. The classically decorated apartments offer every comfort and modern amenity.
Decoration and atmosphere
Costa d’Oiro Ambiance Village is aptly named, as it truly resembles a small, traditional village. We felt instantly at home! The yellow and ochre-colored cottages are reminiscent of the famous cliffs for which the Algarve is famous. The narrow cobbled paths winding between the houses and the lush vegetation give the resort its charm.
The friendly, helpful staff are always ready to meet guests’ needs and help them make the most of their stay. The atmosphere at the resort is warm and pleasant. The various common areas invite you to relax and unwind.

The apartment
Our apartment was decorated in a sober, modern style. It featured a fairly large bedroom with a large bay window, as well as a lounge area overlooking one of the resort’s pools. Although the decor seemed a little dated, we really appreciated the spaciousness and brightness of our accommodation.
The fully-equipped kitchen is a major asset. It houses: fridge, microwave, hob, cooking utensils, kettle, crockery, coffee machine and toaster. It’s a great place to cook up delicious family meals!
The lounge area was equipped with a table and high chairs, as well as a sofa bed for extra sleeping space. The room overlooked the outside, with its large windows letting in the light. We even had a pleasant little balcony overlooking one of the resort’s pools.

The bathroom
In our apartment, the bathroom had a shower. We found hygiene products from the Castelbel cosmetics brand at our disposal. The sink area and mirror were separated from the shower room and toilet, making the bathroom very functional.
The breakfast
Breakfast at the hotel takes the form of an extensive buffet, featuring a variety of sweet and savory foods: cold cuts, cheeses, salads, breads, cakes, pastries, cereals, yogurts and fresh fruit. You’ll also find local products such as the famous Pastéis de Nata, delicious Portuguese pastries, and sardines swimming in oil.
The room where breakfast is served is decorated in a seaside theme, but we recommend that you enjoy it on the outdoor terrace facing the pool, as we do!

Swimming pools and beach access
The hotel boasts several outdoor pools surrounded by a host of sun loungers and parasols. The main swimming pool is on the restaurant level, which seems to be the heart of the vacation village!
The splendid Praia do Camilo is just a 15-minute walk from the resort. It’s definitely one of the most beautiful beaches in Lagos, and one of the must-visit places in the Algarve. Make the most of your family holiday at Costa d’Oiro Ambiance Village to visit at sunrise or sunset!
The restoration
The resort features a restaurant and bar by the main pool. Enjoy traditional seafood dishes, including shrimp, octopus and cod, among other specialties!

- 1 hour’s drive from Faro
How to get there?
The hotel is easily accessible by car from Faro or Portimão. Take the A22 westbound, then exit at the N120. At the second traffic circle, turn onto the N125 and continue straight ahead. Turn off at the large traffic circle towards Porto de Mos. You then take Rua Raul Brandao and Beco da Boneca, which leads to the establishment.

Parking
The aparthotel has an unpaved, stony parking lot equipped with electric recharging points. A bike rack is also available. Drive slowly, there are holes in the ground in some places!
For people with reduced mobility
