We visited the region anonymously, making our own choices and paying our bills in full.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to get to Faro: quick answer<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are several options for getting to Faro:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>By plane<\/strong>:<strong>Faro airport<\/strong> is just 7 km from the city center. It is well served by numerous international routes. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.directferries.co.uk\/corsica.htm?dfpid=1915&amp;affid=21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">&#8211; see available flights.<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>By train<\/strong>: Faro station is an important connection point for links to the Algarve and Lisbon. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cp.pt\/passageiros\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">CP<\/a> (Comboios de Portugal) network makes it easy to reach Faro from Lagos, Tavira, Albufeira or Lisbon.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>By car<\/strong>: the<strong>A22 freeway<\/strong> serves Faro.
