Its main asset? An unusual, refined setting, perfect for a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, yet ideally located. We visited the region anonymously, making our own choices and paying our bills in full.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why stay at Hotel Bela Vista?<\/h2>\n\n<p>The Hotel Bela Vista is the obvious choice in Portim\u00e3o, and is undoubtedly our favorite luxury hotel, like no other! In our opinion, these are the 3 main advantages:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>An exceptional setting<\/strong>: set on the edge of the ocean, the hotel offers spectacular panoramic views over Praia da Rocha, perfect for getting away from it all. Our review<\/h2>\n\n<p>In our opinion, Hotel Bela Vista is one of the Algarve&#8217;s exceptional addresses. Its historic elegance, characterful decor and privileged seafront location create a unique atmosphere. Here, luxury means authenticity and refinement, not ostentation. This is<a href=\"https:\/\/portugallovers.com\/en\/where-stay-portimao-best-hotels-neighborhoods\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">one of Portim\u00e3o&#8217;s finest establishments<\/a>, ideal for a romantic getaway or a moment of relaxation.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Portugal\/Algarve\/Portimao\/H&#xF4;tels\/Bela-Vista\/i-CcNsPkM\/0\/LnqW82hSJnMmkWXWBxjdGNgwQk9HWvGmJcdQ4mnpQ\/L\/piano%20bela%20vista%20hotel%20portimao%20algarve-L.jpg\" alt=\"hotel bela vista portimao - piano\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Decoration and atmosphere<\/h2>\n\n<p>It&#8217;s impossible to remain indifferent to the hotel&#8217;s decoration, so dense and abundant is it. From floor to ceiling, every nook and cranny is teeming with details that immerse us in the owner&#8217;s eclectic and passionate universe. Colorful azulejos, coral-shaped vases, vibrant mosaics&#8230; a veritable visual cacophony where each element tells a story. And yet, despite this profusion of objects and styles, the whole works surprisingly well, creating a warm, lively harmony. The living room, for example, is a cosy cocoon with its traditional fireplace surrounded by azulejos, perfect for a moment of relaxation. The breakfast area, meanwhile, features blue tones and marine decorations that recall the immediate proximity of the ocean. We loved the perfect harmony between the furniture, fabrics and wall tones, creating a soft, soothing decor. The high ceilings, enhanced by refined lighting fixtures, reinforced the impression of space and lightness.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Portugal\/Algarve\/Portimao\/H&#xF4;tels\/Bela-Vista\/i-cP92mr9\/0\/L4HBkXRP824XprkLLhCvF6XLDC9r82qVPqg9SPtwx\/L\/bedroom%20bela%20vista%20hotel%20portimao%20algarve-L.jpg\" alt=\"hotel bela vista portimao - bedroom\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>There was no shortage of little gestures: bottled water, fresh fruit, coffee machine, minibar and even a few inspiring books. These thoughtful touches made our stay even more enjoyable.
