We were charmed by this capital of the Algarve, which skilfully blends historical heritage with a seaside atmosphere. You&#8217;ll discover a preserved historic center, interesting museums and a fascinating multicultural heritage. Its proximity to the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve and its fine sandy beaches make it an ideal destination for a long, sunny weekend or a stopover before exploring the Algarve. We were charmed by its relaxed atmosphere and stunning ocean views. Located just a few minutes&#8217; drive from the town center, it is linked to the mainland by a pontoon. We enjoyed relaxing here after a day exploring the city. Here you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, and dine in the bars and restaurants lining the coastline.
